I love it!

I wanted one of these for a while and when I got mine I couldn't believe I lived so long without it: The salad comes out dry, crispy and it lasts much longer than before, if bagged in a zip plastic bag. I love it so much that I'm ordering one for my mom.

oxo salad spinner

This salad spinner is the best way to prepare a tossed green salad. The greens are easily spinned with a result of dry and crisp moisture free lettece. This can be stored in an air tight container and served for several days if desired. I think the design and efficiency of this particular spinner is excellent. Once a spinner is used , you will never go back to just washing and paper drying resulting in limp greens and wasteful spoilage.

Okay but not great

I received this as a wedding gift. It works fairly well but I would not say that I use it a lot. It also takes up a lot of space in the pantry. I would say that if you think you would use it a lot then it's a good buy. I do not feel that it is a necessity though.
