did I receive the wrong size

I ordered these shoes just received . I ordered a 8 1/2 according to reviews the run big and wide I couldn’t get my foot in shoe it look like a 6 1/2 but size on bottom of shoe and size on box stated 8 1/2 did anybody else have this problem?

These shoes are absolutely stunning. Prettier than the picture with all the bling that sparkles under my feet. I am glad you didn't have black in my size. The gold and bronze colors are perfect for every occasion
